WKP Kennedy Gallery Square foot Show !
ALL YOU CAN EAT is a playful, food-inspired square-foot exhibition celebrating creativity in bite-sized form. This community exhibition explores the art of food as a universal connector — nourishing both body and spirit. Artists are invited to interpret their chosen menu category in any medium or style — from literal culinary illustration to imaginative or abstract explorations of taste, memory, culture, and indulgence. From cherished family recipes to midnight snacks and comfort foods, each artwork becomes a portrait of personal tradition and identity. To heighten the immersive atmosphere, the gallery will be divided into playful “courses,” creating the feeling of walking through a dining experience from start to finish — where each artwork becomes a dish and the exhibition transforms into a feast for the eyes. Extending beyond the gallery walls, visitors will be encouraged to discover new favourites and exchange signature dishes through a shared Recipe Installation hanging in the gallery window, expanding the experience into storytelling and community connection.

Near North Palliative Care Network Invites Local Artists to Join “April Showers Bring May Flowers” Community Art Fundraiser
The Near North Palliative Care Network (NNPCN) is calling on local artists to take part in April Showers Bring May Flowers ... a spring-themed community art auction and fundraiser celebrating creativity, compassion, and hope.
NNPCN’s new fundraising initiative welcomes artists of all experience levels to create and donate original, floral-inspired artworks that reflect themes of renewal, growth, remembrance, love, and healing.
Artists and their works will be featured in a curated online gallery hosted on Facebook and the NNPCN website, where community members can place bids throughout April. All proceeds will directly support NNPCN’s free, compassionate services including in-home palliative support, caregiver respite, and bereavement programs for individuals and families facing illness, loss, and grief.
“At NNPCN, we’ve seen how creativity can turn grief into connection. When words aren’t enough, art helps people find meaning, comfort, and the courage to heal together. April Showers Bring May Flowers is about bringing people together through creativity and compassion,”
- Lauralea Eldridge, Communications & Public Relations Coordinator, Arts Educator, and EOLD
